Brad Mixner

Brad Mixner is the Founder and President of Global EDD Group. Global EDD Group was created with the vision of bridging the wide gap between domestic organizations and their growing national and international legal technology needs.

Prior to founding Global EDD Group, Mr. Mixner provided executive consulting services to a private multinational company that provides a wide range of services to corporate and legal organizations. He came to this company from JurInnov Ltd., a boutique legal technology consulting firm, where he was a consultant and manager of the Electronic Discovery group. A highlight of his tenure at JurInnov was its designation as a Top 20 Provider in the 2007 Socha-Gelbmann Electronic Discovery Survey, a first for the company.

Mr. Mixner came to JurInnov after a long tenure with Merrill Corporation and TRION Technologies ("TRION"), an industry pioneer in the development of electronic discovery and online litigation support software with their e-Capture and Judicata products. He started with TRION as a Production Supervisor managing imaging and coding projects and evolved progressively to becoming Marketing & Communications Manager where he directly assisted with development, testing and release of the products along with the marketing of the company's services.  Upon Merrill Corporation's acquisition of TRION in 2001, Mr. Mixner transitioned to a role of Project Manager for domestic and international litigation document management projects. 

Mr. Mixner started his career with the Cuyahoga County Child Support Enforcement Agency in Cleveland, Ohio, where he worked for five years with the County Prosecutors Office, Domestic Relations Court, and Juvenile Court while enforcing paternity and child support orders as a Senior Support Officer.

Mr. Mixner was a contributor to "Electronic Discovery: An Evolution of Law and Practice" by Yeong Zee Kin and Serena Lim - "International Conference on Electronic Litigation" (Conference Publication), Academy Publishing. 2012

Mr. Mixner is a graduate of Miami University in Oxford, Ohio with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a concentration in Diplomacy and Foreign Affairs.


David Sems, CPA, CITP, CFF

David Sems is the Director of Forensic Technology & Investigations for Global EDD Group. Mr. Sems' experience includes 11 years as the Americas Leader of Forensic Analytics for Ernst & Young and extensive familiarity with international work stemming from providing services in 12 countries within Europe and North America.

Mr. Sems' skills cover the full range of services from computer forensic analysis to transactional data analytics. He helps clients by finding the "needle in the haystack". Using leading techniques including fuzzy string matching, link analysis, text mining, computer forensics and cluster analysis, Mr. Sems leads teams to help clients discover patterns, artifacts and anomalies in huge sets of disparate data that can be used to identify high-risk, non-obvious or suspicious activities.

Mr. Sems holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Akron and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Ohio Society of CPAs. He maintains the designation of Certified Information Technology Professional and Certified in Financial Forensics from the AICPA. David is also an associate member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.


Seth Miller

Seth Miller is the Director of Technical Operations for Global EDD Group. Mr. Miller's experience includes 13 years providing systems integration, systems audits and litigation support services to law firms and corporate legal departments. For the past five years Mr. Miller has also worked with cloud computing platform providers to help develop and implement cloud consumption accounting platforms and hosting infrastructure.

Mr. Miller's legal industry-focus covers a variety of systems. His most recent efforts have focused on messaging and document/knowledge management systems. He has also assisted companies with migrating infrastructure – either wholesale or for specific portions of their operations – into the cloud while ensuring security and availability of the systems.

Mr. Miller holds a bachelor's degree from Cornell University.


Heather Landon

Heather Landon is the Director of Client Relations for Global EDD Group.  Ms. Landon has invested 20 years in Information Technology, with a preferred interest in technology business management and team leadership. Her strength is linking business, legal and IT leveraging all resources including technology and organizational experts resulting in project success at the right cost. She has been directly responsible for various technology departments for over 10 years driving cost savings, successful execution with limited resources, team growth and loss, department budgets and team development. 

Within the Legal Technology industry, Ms. Landon has a range of noteworthy accomplishments, including:

  • Saving high value failing projects within 24 hours by working with the client to resolve issues and provide a roadmap for internal changes.
  • Built a new business team that managed a multi-million dollar forensic data collection department.
  • Developed a global vendor management program that recognized US $2+ million dollar in-source revenue and opportunities.

Ms. Landon received her Bachelor of Arts and Masters of Business Administration degrees from Concordia University in St. Paul, Minnesota.


Ryan Gregg

Ryan Gregg is Vice President of Global EDD Group.  Mr. Gregg brings more than 15 years of experience in Business Development in the technology field, where he has spent the last 9 years serving the Litigation Support Technology and Services industry. Mr. Gregg has a depth of experience consulting with National and Global Law Firms, Corporate General Counsel, Government Agencies and Litigation Support Companies on Litigation technology platforms and service solutions.

Prior to joining the team at Global EDD Group, Mr. Gregg worked for various companies including MCI as a National Account Manager, where he specialized in deposition and collaboration technology; IPRO Tech as Regional Sales Manager with responsibility for sales in more than 20 States, where he worked with Law Firms, GC and Government Entities on internal solutions for handling EDD, Legal Coding and Managed Review; and Tricom Document Management, an Indian corporation with US offices, as Business Development Manager for North America and the UK. He has also worked with iBridge Global Services and Ditech Process Solutions, LPO organizations.

Mr. Gregg received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology at Arizona State University and an MBA in Global Management from the Thunderbird School of Global Management.  Additionally, Mr. Gregg speaks Spanish and has lived abroad conducting social research on Law Enforcement and the Justice System in Mexico.
